German shepherd mix pups. They are being raised by mama dog who is a working farm dog. They have been and are being exposed to cats, chickens, dogs, cows, horses, sheep, and pigs. Mom teaches them how to patrol the property, they are learning to respect the fences, and are learning to kennel. Mom has been leaving them behind the last couple of weeks/ starting the weaning process and they are 8 weeks as of Friday March 4. They are ready for homes of their own. They would make great farm dogs and good pets. The dad is a stray that was dumped and he is a little stand offish. These pups are lower energy and some are pretty shy. Once you sit down on their level though they start making friends. I think they'll do very well one on one or with an older dog/ cat siblings. They are still puppies though and so they still have puppy energy! They are starting to potty train and trying to mind/ learn rules. Again they are puppies so they will make mistakes and need training continued when they go to their new homes. But they are already starting to learn some basic training here and we will train them as much as we can. During the day we bring them out front so our lesson kids etc can see them and they can get more socialization. We are asking a small rehoming fee to make sure they go to a real home. I worked animal services for years and want to find them a good home where they won't end up at a shelter. If something happens and the new owner can't keep them they are always welcome back here. I think they'll be great little dogs. ❤ Text and email is best but if you call please leave a message.
