Jack Russell Terrier Needs a New Home

I need to rehome a 10 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He's pure bred, but I do not have papers for him. He's about 19 lbs. He's had excellent vet care throughout his life and is neutered and microchipped. No health problems, his teeth are in great shape, up to date on all shots, no parasites, no heartworms, has been on flea, tick and heartworm preventative for years. He's very smart, athletic and active, and still trainable. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, heal, lay down, etc. He doesn't bark for no reason. Does bark when someone is outside so he's a great alarm system. Easy to walk, loves to play fetch with toys and balls, excellent cuddler and loves to snuggle next to you in bed. The only issue with this beautiful boy is that he doesn't get along with other animals. He hasn't bitten another animal, but he will growl, snarl and hiss. He wants to be an only child so he needs to go to a home with no other pets. He has not lived around children so I can't really say if he's ok with small kids but on occasions when we have come across kids during walks etc, he seems to be ok. There is a modest rehoming fee.
