Our local business in the heart of Wailuku town seeks an experienced Independent Contractor to work on a contract or freelance basis to complete a variety of projects such as: flooring, painting, general maintenance, A/C and fan replacements, drywall, minor plumbing and electrical, etc.. We are looking for mostly deferred maintenance and cosmetic enhancements. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in their field, can work under minimal supervision and has a flexible schedule. If you are self-motivated with a passion for your work, we are looking for you. Independent Contractor Duties and Responsibilities: • Assess project or assignment details • Adhere to individualized budgets and requirements • Communicate updates and issues that arise with property manager • Meet company deadlines • Track and record your progress daily and update the Manager on duty. Independent Contractor Requirements and Qualifications: • W-9 Required for you and any assistants • Relevant degree or certification •At least 1-2 years of experience in your field • Portfolio of past work • Able to prioritize and manage your schedule • Able to work with minimal supervision • Strong time-management, communication, and organizational skills • Reliability and follow through is a must! Pay out is every Friday. Pay is based on the previous weeks, time and materials. Pay is $30-$50 an hour DOE
