Description

Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods. Perform internal receiving and storing of machined parts, partial or subassemblies and purchased parts. Check and verify quantities, weights, type size, part numbers, etc., to identify materials and deliver or store in assigned locations. Unload trucks. Issue and deliver all materials for assembly, shipment, etc. on bills of material or requisition. Report all errors to Supervisor. Prepare, check and pack a variety of products and equipment for domestic or foreign shipment. Use specific packaging methods and review paperwork for accuracy. Make shipments in accordance with schedules and by applicable orders. Check order for inclusion of all items. Apply directly : Fill requisitions and order promptly and accurately and deliver to proper location. Detect defective products and materials. Prepare complete orders for assembly together with all component parts and subassemblies to fill customer needs. Count or direct the items for inventory records. Maintain stock records, post receipts and withdrawals.
