ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst man is accused of beating up another man for an Xbox gaming system on Monday, then running away, police said.
Terrence Thomas Jr., 18, was arrested on charges of robbery and aggravated battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail, where he still was Thursday afternoon, according to jail records.
Shortly after noon Monday, a man met with Thomas to sell him his Xbox in the 100 block of Fellows Court. When they were about to finalize the transaction, Thomas punched the man in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, according to a police report.
Thomas then repeatedly punched the man and left with the Xbox, but was later found by police, the report said.
