ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police made two domestic violence arrests this week. Both suspects were taken to the DuPage County Jail. Here is information from the reports:
Kristie Johnson, 66, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Pine on a charge of domestic battery. The victim told an officer that she and Johnson were in an argument when Johnson threw a candy dish at her, striking her. Ryan Z. Andrews, 24, of Westmont, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of domestic battery. The incident was 10:30 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 100 block of Fellows Court. The victim told officers that Andrews struck her on the forearm and kicked her right knee. An officer spoke with Andrews, who admitted to striking the woman, according to a report. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
