Description

Calling all scientists, ages 4-10! Come on down to the UWSP Museum of Natural History for a Dino Dig, an afternoon of learning and fun! Don’t be a Fossil Fool! On Saturday, March 12, Bring your “Little Scientist” to the UWSP Museum of Natural History from 1:00-3:00pm for an afternoon of exploring and learning about Dinosaurs!!! Feel free to bring your whole family! Only kids 4-10 can participate in the Dino Dig. The cost is $20 per kid (4-10). Under 4 are free and Parents/Adults are free. The $20 includes a Smithsonian fossil dig kit, goggles, snack, juice, and a Dino bag (party favor)! For extra fun, Dress up like a paleontologist—wear a hat, boots, vest, magnigying glass, binoculars, and a pencil + notebook! We’ve got 4 exciting stations for your little scientist! They can search for Dinosaur eggs and other interesting fossils at the Excavation Site. Don’t forget to take notes of your findings! They can get a hands-on experience like a real Paleontologist in the Fossil Lab! Can they dig up their dinosaur fossil in time, and put it back together again? Your little scientist will also be putting their teamwork skills to the ultimate test so they can build a 3ft dinosaur from scratch! After a “Roaring” good time , we have some yummy snacks and juice they can chomp on so they won’t become a hungry dinosaur! Don’t miss this Dino-mite event, and support Little Dreamers Academy—24 hr nonprofit childcare and preschool!!!
