$100 (register by March 12 for early bird discount - $90)
Join Jaime Ralston-Wilson, mala artist, acupuncturist and owner of My Healing Homestead, as we come together for this fun and interactive workshop to create beautiful gemstone malas!
A mala is a string of beads, or necklace, traditionally used as a tool in meditation to count mantras. Malas can be used in meditation or worn as a beautiful piece of jewelry, reminding the wearer of their intention and bringing a sense of mindfulness to daily life. In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn about the history and use of malas, participate in an intention setting meditation, learn about gemstones and their energetic properties, receive hands-on instruction on mala making, and participate in a closing meditation using your very own mala. The cost of the workshop includes instruction, supplies for a 108-bead gemstone mala, a storage bag, and instructions for mala use and care.
Space is limited so sign up soon! Participants should plan to bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit on during the class.
