Books Gowns & Crowns weekend event / ball. Have you ever wished you could fall into the pages of your favorite books? We had one goal in mind when planning this event. To allow those to live out their bookish dreams. So grab your gowns and crowns and get ready for a weekend for the books.Saturday, September 3rd Registration: The fun begins at The Loft at 8th Avenue for check-in!  There you'll receive your swag bags and mingle with other attendees.  Enjoy morning beverages and pastries as you make your way through to the patio where authors, artists, and vendors of bookish merch have booths set up for you to shop until your heart's content!   The Ball: Get ready to dance the night away at our bookish themed ball.  Come dressed to impress in your gowns and crowns as you take in the sights and sounds of our exquisite venue.  Take a spin on the dancefloor or venture out onto our decorated patio for fun photo opportunities. Grab a cocktail or mocktail and fully immerse yourself because tonight, YOU are the main character in this story. Sunday, September 4th Bookish Fun: Come explore the city of Portland with a curated list of stops and surprises! At each location, you can find a fun nod to some of your favorite books and a special prize. Make sure to hit every stop to collect them all! You'll finish your tour at Powell's City of Books - the largest used and new bookstore in the WORLD! Powell's City of Books takes up an entire city block and houses approximately one million books! The Inner Circle Ticket Exclusive Event - Meet & Mingle: Enjoy an intimate evening with our authors!  After you've finished exploring the city, you'll head over to The Loft at 8th Avenue for an evening filled with fun, laughter, and great conversation!  Your night includes Hors de Vours, a cocktail making class, bookish trivia, and time to meet and converse with not only other attendees, but also some of our event authors! Tickets for this event are extremely limited. Identification must be provided upon check-in to receive your swag bag, and once more when you enter the ball. The name you provide on your ticket MUST match the name on your identification card. Anyone under the age of 21 will not be permitted.Ticket refund policyTickets for this event are nonrefundable, however, they are transferable up to 72 hours prior to the event. If you are no longer able to attend this event, you may reach out to us and provide us with the name of the person you are transferring your ticket to. Transferring tickets is no longer an option within 72 hours of the event. COVID policy​A negative COVID test within 72 hours or a valid vaccine card is required to participate in this event. In the event, that you did not take a COVID test, will we have a certified test company for rapid testing at check-in. If you refuse to provide a negative COVID test, you will not be permitted to attend this event. *COVID Policies are subject to change. We will continue to monitor the situation and reach out to attendees if there is a change in our COVID policy. If this event is cancelled due to COVID, we will look at rescheduling and your tickets will roll over to the next event date automatically.
