ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested four drivers on charges of DUI. Here is information from the police reports:
Steven J. Berg, 23, of Elmhurst, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday at Park and Cottage Hill on charges of DUI and driving without lights when required. He was released on bond. Eric A Rodriguez, 33, of Bensenville, was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday at Grand and York on DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, improper lane usage and failure to signal when required. He was released on bond. Alvin Stanton, 51, of Oak Park, was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Route 83 on charges of DUI (drugs) and improper lane use. He was released on bond. According to a police report, officers and medics responded to a report of a driver, later identified as Stanton, passed out behind the wheel. Kenyata S. James, 40, of Chicago, was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Butterfield on charges of DUI, speeding, possession of open alcohol and improper lane usage. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Kenyata was found to be with a open bottle of cognac in his car. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
