Works by Mozart, Rutter, Lauridsen, and others, including the moving “Prayer for Ukraine" with woodwind quartet, cello, harp, and organ. Join your community in a service for peace in Ukraine and the world. We will gather for an hour of choral music, readings, and prayer, followed by a simple reception. All are welcome, including families. Together we will send our prayers for a better world to strengthen people everywhere working for peace. A collection for humanitarian relief in Ukraine will benefit the International Rescue Committee. Led by members of the church, Director of Music Will Sherwood, and the Rev. Sarah Stewart. Prelude begins at 6:50pm. The Festival Choir will perform works by Mozart, Rutter, Lauridsen, and others, including the moving “Prayer for Ukraine” accompanied by woodwind quartet, cello, harp, and organ.
