This event is ideal for making new friends, professional networking, idea-sharing, and community building. It's free to attend. Join us on Friday, April 1 from 7 pm to 9 pm and see all the wonderful new amenities at The Commentary and catch up with each other. This event is ideal for making new friends, professional networking, idea-sharing, and community building. Or just unwind and enjoy the extended happy hour. It's free to attend. The Commentary is all about coming together and connecting in conversation and shared experiences. Happy hour specials are in effect until 9 p.m. The Commentary is attached to the Westin hotel, and complimentary hotel parking is available in the hotel garage. After parking, simply go to the hotel front desk, say you are there for the social, and ask to have your parking ticket validated. You may still enter from the hotel side; but, you will see a brand new entrance dedicated solely to The Commentary. If you wish to dine there, the menu is All American eatery infusing East Coast ingredients with a West Coast flair. Come join us. Bring your friends and make new ones! Mingle with fabulous LGBTQ+ folk and allies. TJ Flavell will be there to greet you. Bring your friends and meet new people from all over the world. No cover. Casual attire is fine. You are welcome regardless of where you live. Guests from DC, Maryland, and Virginia often attend. If you are taking the Metro, the Ballston stop is only two blocks from the Westin. The South Elevator exit is closest. Feel free to invite all your friends on Facebook! If you haven't been fully vaccinated, have a cough, runny or stuffy nose, fatigue, sore throat, or headache, please just stay home.
