Further job details below. *** Please note: This position requires you to be able to travel to units in South Haven, MI as well as units in St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, MI. You may also choose to be paid extra for traveling to other areas, such as Coloma, Covert, Niles, Baroda, Buchanan, and South Bend (optional as needed). If you choose to pick shifts up outside of your market, you are paid mileage as well as additional fuel bonuses. Job Description: Clean homes, apartments, units between short-term guest stays. You’ll be responsible for maintaining our high standards by leaving a very clean home ready for the next guest! All common areas of Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas must be cleaned thoroughly (including toilets, showers, cabinets, countertops and sinks; dusting baseboards, fans, sills; sweep/mop/vacuum) to avoid leaving any hair, dust, or dirt behind. In addition to detail cleaning, you’ll be responsible for: -Washing, drying, folding laundry (towels, bed linens) -Restocking supplies for guest use (coffee, sugar, paper towel, toilet paper, etc) that’s provided on-site -Completing a walkthrough and filling out the appropriate form, to verify no obvious damage or needed repairs are present and heat, a/c, plumbing is in proper working condition. What makes a good candidate: -*Attention to Detail is a must* -Punctual -Friendly and outgoing -Ability to work alone and/or with a small team -Experience cleaning (professional or personal) -Love for cleaning! What’s required for this position: -Must pass a national background check -Valid drivers license -Reliable transportation -Ability to travel to various units in South Bend, IN and nearby areas (typically within 7 miles) -Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently -Ability to read, understand, and follow direction from manufacturer of cleaning supplies and direction from managers What to expect on each shift: Experience is appreciated, but we will train the right person! You will need access to a smart phone where you will clock in and begin work, verifying checklists are completed and uploading a few photos of your work. General housekeeping/cleaning tasks include: changing and washing linens/towels, dusting, sweep/vac mop, clean bathrooms and kitchen, and clean living areas. How often you can work: We offer flexible shift options where you can work from 2-5 hours a day based on availability. We have shifts available seven days a week, typically starting at 11:00 AM and ending before 5 PM. This position is for our St. Joseph/South Haven market. We have additional markets in St. Joseph/South Haven and Kalamazoo/Portage where you could pick up shifts with bonus pay and mileage (optional). Compensation: -Hourly rate starts at $15 (little/no experience) to $17+ (experienced) -Additional pay includes performance and tips. Additional pay for when you use your own approved cleaning supplies! -Liability insurance is required. We will pay your monthly premium! -1099 Contract Position; must be familiar with self pay of ALL taxes Other requirements: -Must have access to and be able to use a smartphone (iPhone or android) -Must be a US Citizen -Must be able to pass a vigorous and extensive background check (national and local) -Must be able to pass a drug screen for any illegal drugs -Must be able to obtain your own subcontractors’ liability insurance (stipend program available) -Reliable transportation -Basic Knowledge of cleaning chemicals (extensive training provided) IMPORTANT: This is a 1099 Contract position.
