POSITION OVERVIEW: Behavior Technician Trainees implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs with CARD patients and families under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor. Treatment plans are designed to address skill acquisition as well as challenging behavior reduction, and may occur in a variety of settings including the CARD center, patient’s home, school, community, or via telehealth. This is an hourly, non-exempt, part-time position. Acquire valuable career skills, such as: Understand autism and how to treat the deficits and behaviors associated with the diagnosis learn applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and procedures Implement treatment plans across multiple domains, including language, social, cognitive, executive functions, adaptive, and independent living, as well as pre-employment and vocational skills How to implement ABA programs in the natural environment, such as the home, school, place of employment, and community; and Work with applications, games, and web-based technology via an iPad www.centerforautism.com
