Description

A Gentle Yoga Flow & Sound Bath, Followed by a Full Moon Release and 4-Course Vegan Dinner Join us for an intimate evening, where we harness the energy of the full moon to release what no longer serves us and make space for what does. Our ceremony begins with a gentle yoga flow and sound bath designed to activate different energy centers within the body, opening up pathways for deep relaxation and restoration. It is followed by a brief introspective practice that is designed to release the emotions weighing us down and create space for self-love. The evening ends with a 4-course vegan dinner cooked with heart and soul. Our yoga and sound bath is led by Frances Belleza, a resident teacher at Haum and Love Story, two of the most recognized yoga studios in San Francisco. Fran felt called to the practice as a teenager, after a tumultuous childhood led her to explore holistic healing. Fran combines classic yoga styles like Hatha, Vinyasa and restorative with Buddhist meditation. She believes in raising energetic frequencies through chants and sound–-she plays the harmonium, drums and, more recently, the tabla–-and is a devotee of Shiva, the Hindu god of transformation, as well as Durga and Kali, goddesses that embody femininity and strength. Our 4-course vegan dinner is curated by chef Felipe de la Cruz, the former co-owner of Kasbar, a Moroccan restaurant in Boracay. Born and raised in the Philippines, Chef Felipe inherited a love for food from his Negrense roots. He sharpened his culinary chops in Los Angeles by working at restaurants ranging from old-school European to northern Californian and classic Asian. Chef Felipe is as passionate about building community as he is about good food. This event is curated by a small group of friends in San Francisco. We're organizing it as a passion project alongside our day jobs and aren't paid for our time. Our ticket sales will be used to cover expenses and any surplus re-invested into future events. We’re excited to share our love for authentic connections, food and spirituality with you!
