Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) Movie Meet 'N Greet. Take an afternoon to learn about VUB's services and watch The Batman with your fellow vets. If you are a veteran who has not previously been a participant of Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) and do not have a Bachelor's degree-come to our event to learn more about VUB's services and how we can assist you in going to college. Veterans attending the Meet 'N Greet will have a chance to learn about the services VUB has to offer, meet the staff, and enjoy a private screening of The Batman movie with refreshments. Ticket includes entry to a private screening of the movie, popcorn, and soda/water. Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is a free-of-charge program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that helps veterans, who have not completed a Bachelor's degree, to prepare for enrollment at a college of their choice. Services VUB provides: Pre-College Prep CoursesNavigating the College Admissions ProcessAssisting with Applying and Using Military Education Benefits and Federal Financial AidAdvising on Choosing a Major, College Program, and a SchoolTo be eligible to attend this free event, participants: Must comply with the theater's vaccination requirement and bring proof of vaccination to the event. An individual is considered fully-vaccinated two weeks after their single dose of J&J or second dose of Pfizer/Moderna. Guests must bring their physical vaccination card or photo/digital copy of card and show proof of vaccination upon entry. Bring a photo id to the eventMust comply with the theater's mask requirement. A mask must be worn at all times, unless you are actively enjoying food and drinks.Must arrive at the theater by 12:30 pm to check-in. All participants will enter as one group at 12:45 pm since this is a private theater screening. No late admissions are allowed.
