Description

Grown Folks Stories is popping up at Guild Row! Join us Thursday, March 17, from 6-8pm for another beautiful night of storytelling. IT'S NOT EASY TO CARE. IT'S A CHOICE AND AN EFFORT. AT GUILD ROW CARING IS COMMUNALLY CULTIVATED AND CELEBRATED. TOGETHER WE ARE BUILDING A CLUB TO INSPIRE ENGAGEMENT. MEET WHILE DOING. DO WHILE HANGING. PLAY, ARGUE, EAT, LEARN, SHARE, CRAFT, DRINK AND ARGUE SOME MORE… "A SOCIAL CLUB FOR THOSE WHO GIVE A DAMN" Join your Grown Folks Stories fam from 6pm-9pm CST on Thursday, March 17th, 2022 at Guild Row! We know it's St. Patrick's Day too. Beer, including Funkytown Brew, will definitely be available on tap to celebrate accordingly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grown Folks Stories is two hours of five minute stories of our community, told by our community. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cringe, you'll feel. Join this ever-popular gathering of nonprofessional, unrehearsed storytellers, who give us the real stories we live everyday. There is no theme, no judging, no poetry, no readings. EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH! Created by Cara Brigandi and Eric Williams, Founder of the Silverroom, and hosted by Whitney Capps. View LIVE on our Youtube Channel, Facebook Live & Twitch! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since the pandemic hit, we've been poppin' up virtually and around our beautiful city of Chicago until we can get back into the Green Line Performing Arts Center with Arts + Public Life. Follow @ArtsPublicLife & stay tuned for more information on our return soon!
