Children & families are invited to this outdoor event of music, dance, & interactive activities representing international cultures! Musical Bridges Around the World invites children and their families to attend this outdoor event with short performance vignettes and interactive activities representing different international cultures! Artist performances will include Spanish flamenco, American jazz, Mexican mariachi, Indian dance, and European renaissance. Family Day will be followed by the International Music Festival’s final performance at 7PM in the San Fernando Cathedral and The Saga on the San Fernando Cathedral’s facade. We are proud to partner with the Main Plaza Conservancy for this exciting event! Ticket and Check-in Information:Because of the nature of this outdoor event, tickets will not be needed to attend, but we highly recommend you register to get reminders as well as help us report to our sponsors and funders that make this event possible! Tickets will not be scanned, you do not need to bring them.Safety Precautions:Per CDC guidance, we ask that unvaccinated please wear a mask for the safety of our patrons. Extra masks will be available at entry. MBAW will follow all up to date safety and distancing guidelines per the State of Texas and any other measures by discretion for the ensured safety of its attendees. If the situation worsens, it is within MBAW's discretion to require masks or shift virtually.About the International Music Festival:The International Music Festival is an annual multi-day concert festival that directly creates opportunity for meaningful community dialogue by highlighting hotspots around the world. No, but we highly recommend you register to get reminders as well as help us report to our sponsors and funders that make this event possible! - How do I register? Register for tickets here on Eventbrite, mbaw.org/imf, or mbaw.org/events. You can then save your tickets to your device or print them out. You will also receive an email receipt with your tickets attached (unless you have selected not to). - What do I show at the entrance? Nothing. Do to the nature of the event, we will not be checking tickets. - What are the current health protocols I need to follow? Masks are required for unvaccinated individuals. - How do I get to Main Plaza? Where do I park? The Main Plaza lies at the center of downtown San Antonio at: 115 Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205. While there is no dedicated parking for it, there are many close parking options. City Paystations and meters are FREE on Sundays, and you can find more info and options on our website here. - Can I take picture(s) or video(s) at the event? Yes! We ask that you refrain from flash photography while artists are performing.
