Purpose: Reporting to the construction Manager/Superintendent, this position ensures the interior and exterior of the home under construction are kept clean, tidy and free of waste from civil work to finishing. Responsibilities and Accountability: Assist construction crews as necessary. Ensure that safety hazards and or concerns on all job sites are reported to the supervisor in a timely manner. Maintain interior and exterior work sites during all stages of home construction through to finish product, (daily clean up, lumber pile, scrap pile, sort, load and unload materials for movements between different job site locations, sweep, dust, mop and clean etc.. Ensure placement and location of construction waste containers are located to not impair work as the jobsite progresses from beginning to finish. Perform other construction duties as addressed by site superintendents. Position Requirements: Valid AZ drivers License, including your own transportation between jobsites, (reimbursable gas allowance available on a weekly basis for picking up material or small equipment to sites). Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry from 40 to 80 pounds if necessary. Strong attention to detail and able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively as a team player. Demonstrated reliable attitude, honest and integrity. (taking anything from a jobsite, new or old without permission is grounds for immediate termination! Bonuses: Computer Illiterate. Construction job site cleaning experience. Knowledge of construction trades, (concrete, framing, drywall, tile, paint, stucco etc..). Bilingual: English and Spanish. Good assortment of tools, for trades listed above. Able to read blue prints or willing to learn. Run jobsite equipment; (scissor lifts, material lifts, bobcat/Skidsteer experience/operation, walk behind compactors etc..). Knowledge of real-estate procedures This job opportunity is great for a new person who has no experience, or is very experienced, and is willing to take direction and learn from one of the most prestigious custom home builders in AZ.
