Listen to the best blues musicians around while enjoying unlimited samples from the best IPA and hop-forward beer makers in the area. Hops & Blues is back for a third installment! We will have a ton of amazing beer from some of your favorite hop-centric breweries, a killer music line-up, and some awesome grub available for purchase in our spacious Beer Garden! We've booked two of the best local blues groups in the Triangle and are thrilled to have them on board. They'll get your feet tapping and spirits flying with some great rocking blues. Brett Chambers & The Usual Suspects The PheobeesBEER: We will be serving select hop-forward beers from each of the breweries listed below as well as a few others to be announced soon. Brewery reps will be on-site to tell you about the featured beers! Glass Jug | Aslin | Resident Culture | New Anthem | Wilmington | Commonwealth | Triple Crossing | Funguys | Durty Bull | Wooden Robot | ...More breweies TBA! FOOD: Cockadoodlemoo Truck will again be slinging their delicious BBQ to help soak up all those hoppy beers. Note that the ticket price does not include food, but food can be purchased individually from the truck. TICKETS: This year's event is limited to 250 attendees. $45 general admission ticket gets you into the show and a sample cup that can be used for unlimited samples from the various breweries on site. We are also offering (a VERY limited number of) $18 tickets for people under 21, designated drivers, or those who are just listening to the music. These tickets do not include any alcohol. No alcohol can be consumed at The Glass Jug with this ticket. COVID PRECAUTIONS & OTHER NOTES: - All beer will be served by fully vaccinated servers. - Per the current Durham City/County guidelines, masks are optional, but are strongly encouraged for those who are not fully vaccinated and bosted. - This event is outdoors. It is in May. It could be hot, or cold, or rainy. Be prepared for the elements. This is NC. We'll provide water stations and some tables will have shade, but we encourage you to also bring hats, sunscreen, etc. - Please feel free to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to set up in the beer garden to listen to the music. There will be lots of seating available, but there will also be room for you to bring your own, if you prefer. - This event is for hoppy beer lovers. Each brewery is bringing beers that showcase hops, so while we are hoping for a great variety, the event will certainly be focused on IPAs, so if you're not into IPAs, this event probably isn't for you. - No outside beverages of any kind will be allowed. - Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase inside The Glass Jug. - You may enter and exit the beer garden as needed, as long as you still have your wristband. Otherwise, we cannot allow re-entry. FAQs: Q: Can I bring my dog? A: Yes, as long as they stay on lease and you pick up after them. Remember that it is going to be hot outside and there will be a lot of other people, so please keep your dog's welfare in mind, also. Q: Can I bring a lawn chair or umbrella? A: Yes. We will be providing extra seating, but feel free to bring your own chair for hanging out and enjoying the music if that would be more comfortable for you. Q: Can I bring in outside food and drinks? A: Outside food is fine, but we are not allowing outside drinks to avoid people bringing in outside alcohol. We have non-alcoholic beverages for sale at the bar and will have a water station set up during the festival. Cockadoodlemoo Truck will also be here for the entirety of the event serving some delicious food! Q: Can I purchase a ticket at The Jug? A: No. All ticket sales are through Eventbrite and there will not be any tickets available at the door. Q: Do I have to purchase a Non-Alcohol/Music-Only ticket for my child? A: Kids under 5 years old can attend for free. Otherwise, please purchase the $18 music-only ticket. Note that this is an outdoor beer festival, and we are not providing any child-focused entertainment, so plan accordingly. Q: Can I buy beer or other drinks at the bar and bring it outside to the festival? A: Yes. The only drinks included in the ticket price are what is served in the beer garden, but additional drinks (beer, wine, cider, or other beverages) can be purchased individually inside. You CANNOT purhchase ANY alcoholic drinks if you have purchased a "music only" ticket.
