GLOWGA is a unique yoga experience, to enhance all of your senses. Practiced under neon and black lights! Arrive early for glow accessories. Melissa and Sydney Duarte will be co-leading this fun all-levels vinyasa-style Glow in the Dark Yoga class. GLOWGA is a unique yoga experience, to enhance all of your senses. Practiced under neon and black lights to add a new twist to finding balance. Glow in the dark body paint will be provided to participants that arrive early. Where your bright colors if you’d like to shine in the dark. We look forward to flowing with you! Melissa loves helping people find a connection back to themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally through sharing the practice of yoga and all the wellness rituals that have helped her grow and heal, so that they too can live their most authentic lives. She has lived and taught all over the east coast from Miami to New York City, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sydney’s style is for students who would like to experience play, strength and exploration. Linking breath with movement, from one pose to another, mixing vinyasa flow with deeper, restorative stretch postures. She encourages others to live, dance, breathe with intention while opening up to the relationship between physical body awareness, internal reflection and the free-flow energy in that moment of balance on our mats. She is here to help you ENJOY the journey, every step of the way. Please arrive 30 minutes early to ensure you find parking and can settle in without having to rush. If you'd like to glow with us, dress in brightly colored clothing and arrive early for glow accessories + body paint Charlotte SHOUT Elemental Yoga Series THE EXPERIENCE The Elemental Yoga - Outdoor series will be connecting Charlotte SHOUT visitors back with their minds and bodies. Being emersed in nature and connecting with the Earth. An ecosystem we urgently need to look after – our only home. Living a healthier more sustainable lifestyle by healing ourselves is the first step to healing our planet. Movement - 9 all-level classes will be offered throughout the duration of the festival. Each one will be a different sequence of postures. Participants will have a new experience with every class (Restorative, Vinyasa, Sound Healing, Glowga (Glow in the dark Yoga), Primal, slow flow, meditation) to connect the mind to the body through movement. Breath - Gain perspective by viewing the Earth at a close distance and slow down with various breathwork techniques throughout class. Awareness - We only have 1 body, we only have 1 planet. Participants will gain awareness of how their bodies feel when they move with intention, which will tie back to the ways we move throughout life in relation to Mother Earth.
