Open interviews for Direct Care Professionals to serve individuals with disabilities. Touching Heart’s Group Homes, LLC is now accepting applications for the following positions/shifts at Touching Heart’s Group Homes, LLC in Eustis. Direct Care Professionals All three shifts include some weekends and holidays. -Days, Evenings, and Nights- (Caring, professional, and reliable) Responsibilities: Direct Care Support with individuals with disabilities. Each staff will be responsible for daily activities: • Personal Care functions. • Community Outings. • Prompting individuals arranged transportation pick up and drop off. • Educational activities such as reading, writing, math, computer skills, social skills, cooking classes, planning, shopping & prep work. • Communicate with team members through daily communication log and written report on the progress and activities of residents. • Interact with residents in a manner that promotes respect and learning, supports resident goals. Requirements Include: • 18 yrs or older. • High school diploma/GED. • 1yr. experience- (psychiatric, child care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.) • One employment work history or résumé. • Three written character references, (excluding relatives)- One should be a prior employer. • Affidavit of Good Moral Character. • Level 2 background Livescan for FDLE and FBI • Local Law Enforcement check for the past 5 years. • ALL required training Touching Heart’s Group Homes, LLC (DBA) Touching Heart’s Academy & Adult Day Training Program organizational goals will focus on one’s independence and not the capacity of their mental or physical disabilities.
