APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH! All children deserve a safe and happy childhood & our heroes help them have that! Our Multi-Disciplinary Team partners are the heroes who help child abuse survivors move past their trauma. This luncheon is our way to say THANK YOU to those who walk side by side with the families who experience this. Now more than ever, we need to come together as an advocacy community to recognize our frontline workers, learn about the issues impacting our children, and be a voice for children and families within our community. After lunch and the program, we will move to Valdosta City Hall and place pinwheels on the front lawn to represent the reported cases of child abuse for 2021.
