John Shuster comes to The Parkway for an evening of fun and conversation about the sport of curling, his career, and the Olympic experience! Conversation moderated by Dave Schwartz, former KARE-11 sports anchor and newly appointed communications manager for the Minnesota Wild. John will be bringing his medals, his Opening and Closing Ceremonies jackets, and his Olympic uniform for guests to see, try one — and take photos with! John Shuster is an American curler who lives in Superior, Wisconsin. He led Team USA to Gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics, the first American team to ever win Gold in curling. He also won a Bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Most recently, Shuster had the honor of being a Team USA flag bearer at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, where Team USA finished fourth.
