This workshop delves into how to work a networking event. Don't be that person who tries to hand his or her business card to everyone in the room hoping that someone might be interested in the product or service being offered. Learn how to make actual connections with those you might be able to help, and get better traction when you do hand out your card. In addition to learning how to work the room, you'll also get tips on how to find events (most are free) to attend throughout the year to help promote yourself. Bridgeworks offers free parking, free wifi and free coffee. I will be supplying the donuts. You'll also get a first hand look at the co-working space (an excellent, cost-effective location for self employed professionals), and an opportunity to network.   Nothing beats making connections face to face.
