WESTPORT, CT — A Westport man accused of putting a camera on a woman's bed frame and a tracking device on her car was arrested Monday, according to police. In a news release, Police Lt. Dave Wolf said Kenneth Watterworth, 68, of Westport, was charged with third-degree stalking and eavesdropping. According to Wolf, a woman told police Watterworth, whom she lived with, put a camera on her bed frame and a GPS tracking device on the undercarriage of her car. The woman said she found a tracking device on her car in late January and discarded it, however she caught Watterworth installing a second tracking device on the vehicle a few days later, Wolf said. The woman also told police she found a camera attached to a bed frame in a room she often uses on Feb. 1. According to Wolf, the camera was facing the mattress and could not capture video, however the woman said it was placed there to listen in on her. After further investigation, police obtained a warrant for Watterworth's arrest. He turned himself in Monday at the Westport Police Department and was released after posting a $2,500 bond, Wolf said.
