Description
BEVERLY, MA —North Shore residents are invited to attend a panel discussion on the Russian invasion of Ukraine at Endicott College on Wednesday.
The college will host the discussion "Perspectives on the Ukraine Crisis" featuring an expert panel in the Clearly Lecture Hall from 1 to 1:50 p.m. Students, faculty members and members of the local community are welcome.
"While the unprovoked attacks on Ukraine last week have resulted in many acts of solidarity and tough responses from governments around the world, they have also generated several questions that need to be answered," panel organizers said. "Why did Russia decide to invade? How will the siege impact the region and beyond? What toll does this take on the people of Ukraine?"

Provost Beth M. Schwartz will moderate the discussion that will include Political Science and International Studies Professor Vitaly Kozyrev, Political Science Associate Professor Alana Tiemessen, Broadcast & Digital Journalism Assistant Professor Lara Salahi and International Studies Assistant Professor Semahagn Abebe.
