ANDOVER, MA — Andover's covid test positive rate over the last two weeks fell to the lowest level since early November as the omicron variant continues to recede.
The town's two-week positive rate was 2.81 percent in Thursday's town-by-town Public Health Report, the lowest since the Nov. 4 report.
There were just 61 confirmed cases in town in the last two weeks, down from 85 in the prior report. That's 12.1 average daily cases per 100,000 residents.

Statewide, confirmed case counts have fallen to their lowest level since August.
Nearly half of the town's population, 49.9 percent, has received a booster vaccine dose. Nearly 90 percent, 89.8 percent, has received at least one shot and 80.5 percent are fully vaccinated.
