ANDOVER, MA — Andover's covid test positive rate over the last two weeks fell to the lowest level since early November as the omicron variant continues to recede. The town's two-week positive rate was 2.81 percent in Thursday's town-by-town Public Health Report, the lowest since the Nov. 4 report. There were just 61 confirmed cases in town in the last two weeks, down from 85 in the prior report. That's 12.1 average daily cases per 100,000 residents. >>MA Town-By-Town COVID-19: Positive Rate Falls Below 2% Statewide, confirmed case counts have fallen to their lowest level since August. Nearly half of the town's population, 49.9 percent, has received a booster vaccine dose. Nearly 90 percent, 89.8 percent, has received at least one shot and 80.5 percent are fully vaccinated.
