GREENWICH, CT — On March 2, a resident on Round Hill Road reported that a check was possibly stolen from their mailbox and altered to the amount of $4,700, according to the Greenwich Police Department. However, the person was unable to deposit the check because of insufficient funds in the account, police said. The incident is under investigation.
