(WDSU New Orleans) Gunfire at a Kenner apartment complex on Thursday led to the use of a SWAT team after a trail of bullet casings led to the entrance of a unit and the occupant refused to answer the door. The operation lead to multiple people in the apartment being detained, according to police, but no arrests have been made. (NOLA.com) A press conference was held this weekend at UNO where the family of a 21-year-old student demanded answers from NOPD and Uber about their daughter's mysterious death. The victim, Ciaya Whetstone, arrived at a hospital dead two weeks ago after taking an Uber ride. The family claims they haven't received any updates from the police or the rideshare company on her case.
