ACROSS ILLINOIS — As of Tuesday, Governor J.B. Pritzker extended his new coronavirus stay-at-home order through April 30. This means kids will be at home e-learning with their parents or guardians. It also means they'll have a little extra free time, leaving many parents having to get creative to keep the little ones entertained. Kids at heart across the nation are also finding new ways to entertain themselves during this time. Patch wants to know about the creative ways you're passing the time with your kids or by yourself during the coronavirus shutdown. Send your uplifting stories and photos to [email protected] for a chance to be featured in an upcoming article about coping with the coronavirus shutdown. Here's how to submit your photos and stories: 1. Email a photo and story to [email protected] showing a fun or unique thing you're doing to pass the time. 2. Put "Fun at Home" in the subject line 3. Include permission to use the photo if you took it; if not, we need permission from the person who did. We can't wait to see all the creative ways you're finding to enjoy each day.
