NORRISTOWN, PA — A man is wanted after police said he shot his younger, teenage brother and left him to die in a Norristown alleyway last month, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced. Tymeir Henderson, 27, of East Pleasant Street in Philadelphia, shot and killed 28-year-old Dyon Thompson, and shot and injured his 19-year-old brother, Quadir Miller, on Feb. 27. The incident occurred outside a home on the 700 block of Chain Street at around 4 p.m. that day. Thompson had arrived at the home to speak to Niearah Avery, the mother of his 7-year-old daughter, who is 8-months pregnant with Henderson's child, investigators said. Miller waited in the car while Thompson went in and spoke with Avery, Henderson, and a female friend of Avery's, police said. It's not clear what happened next. Authorities said that as Thompson walked back to his car, multiple shots were fired by Henderson, ultimately killing Thompson and striking Miller, according to police. Officials believe that a 9mm Taurus handgun, legally owned by Avery, was used in the shooting and that Henderson still has it with him. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Henderson is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and about 150 pounds. If you see him, call 911 immediately, Call Norristown Police at 610-270-0977 or the Montgomery County Detectives' Tip Line at 610-278-DOIT (3638) if you have any information.
