Tullytown PD To Host Safety Seminars For Women

TULLYTOWN, PA — The Tullytown Police Department will be hosting two safety seminars for women on Thursday, April 7, and Thursday, April 21. The event will give police officers and safety professionals the chance to teach general safety measures and practices for local women. The events will be hosted by Officer Ashley Beck of the Tullytown Police Department. The seminars will teach women the importance of Safety Tactics Awareness Response, or S.T.A.R., giving local women the tools to stay safe in dangerous situations. Both seminars will be held from 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. at the Tullytown Municipal Building, located on 500 Main St. Those who wish to register for this event are asked to email Police Secretary Karen Sylvester at [email protected].
