Felony DUI Charges For Theodore Street Resident

JOLIET, IL — A 58-year-old man who lives on Theodore Street in Crest Hill faces felony charges in connection with this week's crash along Laraway Road that injured a woman. The Will County Sheriff's Office arrested Fred Lang and booked him into the Will County Jail early Wednesday morning. According to the criminal complaint, Lang has been charged by the Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence. Lang was driving a Chevrolet pickup on Laraway Road on Tuesday in Joliet when Lang "was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in great bodily harm" to a woman, according to prosecutors. The complaint states that Lang had an alcohol concentration in his blood that was 0.08 or more. Will County Jail logs show that Lang was freed from custody on Thursday morning after posting 10 percent of his $25,000 bail. Lang lives in the 1000 block of Theodore Street.
