Mask Mandate In ISD 191 Ends Monday

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — ISD 191 announced that beginning Monday, masks will be "recommended but not required" for students and staff in the district. The end of the mandate also applies to transportation in the district, according to a post on ISD 191's Facebook page. The School Board voted on the change to COVID-19 protocol at a meeting Thursday, the district said. However, masks will still be required for kids and staff of the district's pre-kindergarten program, ISD 191 said. The new guidelines also remove restrictions on visitors, the district said. ISD 191 said that more information on these changes will be posted on its website sometime Friday.
