IMPERIAL BEACH, CA — Officials confirmed 85 new cases of the coronavirus and another death Sunday in San Diego County, bringing the region's totals to 3,927 cases and 139 deaths. Of the cases, 30 have been in Imperial Beach. Since the coronavirus pandemic first came to the county, 828 people have been hospitalized due to the virus, with 266 placed in intensive care. A total of 59,878 COVID-19 tests have been conducted. Of 2,277 tests reported to the county Saturday, 4 percent were positive.
