Heart Beet Gardening is LA’s original urban farming business. Founded in 2007, our company designs, builds and maintains organic vegetable gardens and orchards. We are also a licensed organic nursery. Our goal has always been to connect Angelenos with their soil, their food and their city through beautiful and productive edible gardens. We are now looking to add a landscape installer to our team! Position: Garden Installer/Landscaper Start Date: ASAP Please respond ASAP Requirements: 1. You must have significant experience in the landscape trade, which may include: irrigation installation, retaining walls, hardscaping, heavy equipment operation, etc. 2. You must be physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, digging, and moving bags of soil, pots, wheelbarrows, 15 gallon fruit trees, etc. 3. This job requires a significant amount of driving. You must have access to a car. 4. Finally, it's important that you have a sense of humor and flexibility in the face of vegetable gardening! 5. This position will begin ASAP. The ideal candidate can commit to 1 year.
