Description
I rescued my doberman / collie mix about a year ago, from a neglectful and abusive home. He was about a year old(maybe 1 1/2?) And had never been potty trained, walked, or socialized before, and when I met him he was eating cat food because his owner(male) never even fed him.
This dog saved my life more than the other way around, and we have grown in many ways by having each other. He is such a good boy and has taught me what unconditional love is, and I couldn't imagine my life without him. He needs a home with no other male dogs and a big yard or field to run in. He doesn't like being alone and he doesn't trust people easily.
My roommate/friend,passed away last week. Now I don't have a stable place to keep him so I can work or go do anything in general. His fear of abandonment and puppy trauma is what I assume is the root cause of his anxiety in social situations and unfortunately I can't be couch hopping and give him the life he deserves.
