DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The village of Downers Grove closed village hall and part of its police station to residents Monday afternoon amid concerns of protests at police stations. Village officials said in a Facebook post that the closures come "out of an abundance of caution" amid protests and unrest in the wake of George Floyd's death.
Tuesday's village meeting was also canceled.
