Courts in those jurisdictions had no legal authority and by law all ballots cast in the manner of mailed out ballots are invalid.

It's get to the heart of the issue. Those Ballots were approved by an illegal authority, only the state legislatures have the authority to change the 'manner' (mailed out ballots) not courts in jurisdictions. The Constitution clearly defines it.
