I passed you too many times to not notice how your short green hair and mine (long and colored) complimented each other, or the way we were both loudly wearing orange in a way that felt comradely and sapphic (or whatever the non-binary idea of sapphic is, we both look like gay flowers and I felt very seen). I resisted the urge to say "Oh no" out loud when you dropped your bagels in front of the orchids, and snagged a bunch of pink flowers I thought were roses and walked away instead.. not sure what these are but now I think of you every time I see them in the living room. When everyone was complimenting my jumpsuit in the check out, I felt myself talking too loud and word vomiting (I really love those comics). I'm not normally so loud, I promise. Your aura is so gentle, and I would be gentle with it if you'd let me. If you want to go on a boba date while looking cuter than everyone else with me - any time, any place. <3
