First of all I want to say that I am posting below, at the end, in italics (below the dashed lines) the original misguided comment to which I am replying. I am leaving out the original poster's graph as it an example of "figures don't lie, liars figure". 1) You can and should go the gasBuddy.com and check the graph that I supplied. (the original poster used this very same site for his data. And the false conclusions he spun from his data.) 2) You will see that gas buddy lets you produce a historical graph of up to 10 years of data. Do as I did and select 10 years of data. 3) Note you can graph more than one location on gas buddy on the same graph. Since it allows you to select USA and also Canada graph both on the same graph. 4) Look at the US vs Canada graphs. In general they rise together and they fall together. Interesting since the craigslist misinformation and disinformation poster seems to be saying that Biden is the cause of the rising gas prices as opposed that the rise is a global thing. Following the original poster's line of logic I guess Biden (and for that matter Trump) were not only president of the United States but apparently they ruled and currently rule Canada. 5) The gas buddy web site seems to only have US and Canada data available to graph. It would be nice to be able to look at other countries such as France, England, Germany, Russia, India, China... My suspicion is their gas prices would have ups and downs that mirror that of the US and Canada. 6) It would be interesting to go all the way back to Jimmy Carter's time in the white house. (oil embargo, hostage crisis...) But it seems gas buddy does not go further back than 10 years. 7) If anyone wants extra credit, go find a reliable source for gas prices for all the countries mentioned above as well historical data that spans more than 10 years, produce a single legible graph with all countries plotted on same graph and lets see if all the curves have similar ups and downs. CONCLUSION: THE ORIGINAL POSTER IS A TRUMP DOPE WITH TRUMPIAN ETHICS AND LOGIC. Corporations were not greedy under President Trump, but were only greedy while hussein obammy and old joe and camel toe are in control. It makes sense if you think public school teachers are doing a good job! Energy policy is the truth. Shutting down oil production in America is the reason prices are rising. Reliance upon Russian oil is the reason prices are rising. The same moron who claims President Trump was a puppet of Putin is blind to the fact that old joe shut down oil production in America in order to help Putin finance a war in Ukraine. Then we have this idiot going back to the lame old scamdemic argument. A virus did not tell democrats to shut down the country. A virus can not talk. I know, I know, it is hard to believe that after they way our public school teachers acted. They acted like there were tiny zombies floating around and if they bit you, you died. Pathetic.
