Frenchman Hills Vineyard and Quarry, a division of Segale Properties LLC, is looking for a permanent, full-time Irrigator to join our team! The Irrigator is a hands-on position that works with electronic irrigation control equipment to monitor water pressure and flow. Repairs drip hoses, broken pipes, valves, and cleaning filters, etc. Continually checking on all things related to irrigation for our vineyard and farm. Work Schedule: Regular schedule is (Monday – Friday). Must be flexible to work longer days, as well as nights/weekends to support the busy season. What we offer: • Competitive compensation (DOE) • Comprehensive benefit plan (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life) and Retirement Plan with a generous 401k match. • Paid Time Off (PTO). • Company housing options may be available (TBD) Who you are: • Experience with drip irrigation systems, center pivots, gear boxes, valves, pumps, wells, basic knowledge of water pressure and flow, and all associated equipment. • Solid mechanical ability; able to perform all basic repairs to irrigation equipment. • Comfortable working with computers and able to learn basic software application; experience with variable frequency drives (VFD’s) and other electronic irrigation control equipment preferred. • Self-motivated, dependable person who is able to work without direct supervision.
