Save Max Liquor And Cigar Burglarized In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating a burglary that took place at Save Max Liquor and Cigar Expo at 1728 Ogden Ave. early Thursday. Cash, cigarettes and liquor were stolen during the burglary, according to a police report. Police say when they got to the scene it appeared someone had pried open the front door to gain entry to the business. Cash was stolen from the register, in addition to 15 packs of cigarettes and various bottles of alcohol.
