Mission of The Project Attention OMMA Compliant Cannabis Businesses & Citizens/Advocates of The 2018 Oklahoma State Question #788 "An Effort to Solidify and Set-Apart State Compliant Cannabis Businesses from Illegal Cannabis Dealers by reforming Laws and Language of Laws Prohibiting the Democratic Process to decide rather to Reform, Update or continue to Prohibit the use of Cannabis, as it has for much deadlier substances on the grounds of DEEP POCKET SPECIAL INTEREST LOBBYISTS REPRESENTING BIG TOBACCO & ALCOHOL! It is a fact that the most critical and desperate Bill that needs to be passed is BANKING LAWS! Oklahoma's 1st priority should be the one with the greatest potential for risk to PUBLIC SAFETY! That is: THE SAFE Banking Act of 2021! OKLAHOMA MUST join with the other MMJ Compliance States in support of The Safe & Equitable Banking Act, To allow Compliant, Licensed, Regulated, Law Abiding, Cannabis Businesses to use Banking Institutions Freely and Without Fear of being the target of Account Closure and Seizures of funds by the Federal Government AND NON-COMPLIANT, OUTLAWS THAT WILL USE DEADLY FORCE TO ROB THE COMPLIANT CANNABIS FARMER/DISPENSOR WHO'S BEING FORCED TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING IN CASH! We (Citizens of The State of Oklahoma), are calling upon our State Government, to investigate the issues by process of Pro vs, Con and then add THE ISSUE OF SEVARITY, to arrive at the need to put to public vote, a Bill that would decide, (BY THE PEOPLE), Indexing The Dual Banking System, starting with The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and The Federal Reserve System, This Bill would need to contain the language of the CRY for Public Safety, The Need for complete and Regulatable Accountability from Cannabis Businesses for the accurate calculations of payment of Taxes, Fees and other financial obligations, and would prefer to do so with a Business Check! The language of this Bill would also call for the accountability of Banks and Credit Unions from denying and /or impeding any State Licensed Compliant Cannabis Business or Citizen from Safe Transactions of Deposit and/or Withdraw of Taxable or Taxed Income. In addition, we are submitting to our State Legislators and State Governor of The State of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) That They Support an order to suppress and suspend any Bank or Credit Union from Charging Excessive Fees to their Cannabis Customers/Members deemed to be involved in any capacity with, a "Licensed Compliant Oklahoma Cannabis Business" EVEN THE BANKS ARE WILLING TO BREAK OR BEND FEDERAL BANKING LAWS TO CAPITALIZE ON AND GOUGE THE COMPLIANT CANNABIS FARMER TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND BELIEVING IN THEIR STATE TO FULLY SUPPORT AND STAND BEHIND THE WILL OF OKLAHOMA'S DECISION TO LEGALIZE MEDICAL MARIJUANA, BY CHARGING UP TO $1,000.00 A MONTH FOR A CHECKING ACCOUNT THAT ISN'T EVEN FDIC INSURED AND GOES AGAINST THE Federal Reserve Board (FRB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) The Federal Reserve System, The FDIC, nonbank financial institutions, Emergency Banking Act of 1933, National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) NOTE: Please support this group by sending your support for the negligence that our State Legislators and our Governor committed to the presentation and pre-framework research to the bill BEFORE opening the floodgates of passage! THEY PUT OUR SAFETY AND POSSIBLY OUR LIVES IN DANGER BY NEGLECTING TO DO THEIR JOBS BY THE PROCESS OF DUE DILIGENCE! Medical Marijuana Bill #788, by pre-maturely pushing it through on the single premise of how much MONEY other states have paid in taxes and fees! These legislators, driven by greed, without so much as forming a research committee to look into the stumbles and trial and errors of states that have already gone through the Growing Pains and discovered solutions that made sense, and the ones that didn't! LIKE attempting to disallow patient caretakers from growing a small garden outside, to avoid the high prices of the "Dispensary Clinics"! THAT DID NOT GO WELL FOR THEM! Some Cannabis Businesses have invested MILLIONS into their businesses and still are forced to pay their bills AND employees in CASH! It's another form of negligence by State Regulators by forcing employers to pay employees in CASH! Can you imagine having to carry 3 or 4 hundred thousand dollars in cash to the County or State to pay taxes or for large equipment purchases? Not to mention, not every Canna Business has the same level of desire to be in compliance and legitimate with their cash earning reports!...WHY? BECAUSE THEY CAN'T BE HELD TO THE SAME ACCOUNTING MEASUREMENTS AS A DIFFERENT INDUSTRY AND THE LACK OF PRE PLANNING REQUIRED BEFORE RELEASING THE PROHIBITION TO THE STATE PUBLIC! You can show support in 2 ways: 1) Join us! by clicking this link and signing our petition. Be aware, the State Senator's will tell you "It's too late, you needed to get them in before February 20th, 2022", but we're here to inform you THAT IS NOT TRUE! The way around that duck-n-dive end-run is to FOLLOW the petition all the way up the ladder! SUB-NOTE: Possible Solution - The United States has a dual banking system, with national banks regulated on the federal level and state banks regulated by each state. There are some overlaps between the two systems, with certain state banks subject to regulation on both levels. Proponents of the dual banking system maintain that national banks benefit from their greater scale, while state banks can be more innovative and attuned to the needs of their communities, and that the two types complement each other. If there's anyone out there who is tired of all of the money grubbing, promise making, lobbyist chumming sludges that are supposed to represent OUR interests instead of Special Interests, E-Mail us today!
