Howdy! Sportera Events, founder of MUDGIRL Run, is currently seeking some rad Race Crew and Race Managers to join us on the road for the 2022 US season and beyond! Founded in 2013, MUDGIRL is an Obstacle Course Race dedicated to women, where athletes will find 3 miles of mud, obstacles, and smiles! These positions are part of the event production team and are considered "On the Road" roles, meaning they'll be the boots on the ground setting up, operating, and striking each event! Being a nationwide series, we can accept applicants from anywhere serviced by an airport, however, we hope to focus on hiring in our hub city of LasVegas, NV. Most crew will find themselves traveling to 15-20 events per year from April to December, but some will come to as few as 5 or as many as 30 - it can be very flexible for the right candidate! WHAT'S A DAY IN THE LIFE LIKE? -Start your days by breathing in the fresh outdoor air across our beautiful country - we operate in 25+ cities nationwide, and another 15+ globally -Then dive into marking unique race courses through prairies, ponds, and ponderosas -Continue by building 20+ obstacles and course features from the ground up -Cap it all off with unique opportunities to explore the cities we're in each week (baseball games, brewery tours, sometimes even cruises!) Events are paid by the day, with entry-level starting at $150/day and increasing frequently from there to $200+/day. Most event periods are 6 days long. Travel expenses are covered. Running races can be a bit of a niche for many, but for those of us who love it, it is incredibly rewarding and offers the equivalent of years of experience packed into every season!
