We are seeking individuals who have experienced a traumatic event (e.g., a physical or sexual assault, motor vehicle accident, combat, natural disaster_ and have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to participate in a clinical drug study, The goal is to see whether a natural anti-stress hormone called allopregnanolone (Allo) affects memory and startle reactions. The purpose of this pharmocokinetics (PK) study is to confirm that thhe intravenous (IV) Allo dose planned for the main study increased blood Allo levels to the desired range.
