Somersett Golf & Country Club is hiring Greenskeepers. Employment to begin immediately. Candidate cares for and maintains golf course greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, ponds, native areas, and related facilities. This person must have the ability to lift moderate to heavy weight, operate small and heavy machinery, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They must be committed to providing a quality golf course and a safe work environment. Experience preferred but not required. EXAMPLES OF PRIMARY DUTIES: 1. Operate a weed eater, mowers, tractors, trencher, vehicles and other equipment as necessary 2. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools required for golf maintenance and facilities maintenance work 3. Perform hand-work such as pruning, shoveling, trimming, and raking 4. Perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks involving the maintenance, construction and repair of golf course 5. Perform manual labor including lifting heavy weights, stooping, bending and twisting 6. Perform other such duties, as assigned. Somersett Golf & Country Club is home to our Tom Kite designed 18-hole par 72 golf course that plays to 7,252 yards from its Championship tees.
