This is a public service announcement to all musicians who play a tube amplifier.\ I was talking with an old friend - boutique amp maker - He just ordered $8,000 in tubes (enough to last his shop about 4-6 months he said) - and he "doesn't know what he's going to do after that" Virtually ALL tubes come from Russia/Ukraine and the surrounding regions. The conflict in Russia/Ukraine *IS GOING TO* have an impact on tube supply, and it could get pretty bad if the tube factories are destroyed, or shut down for whatever reason. Also there is the possibility that economic sanctions prevent us from buying tubes. I strongly suggest you grab a backup set of tubes for your amplifier.
