Looking to create a power trio

So I'll need a drummer and Bass/guitarist with vocal. What I'd like to create is an old school rock / blues sound, in the vein on Cream or Hendrix or Grand Funk ect.ect. I would like to keep it old school classic rock, T.Petty ; CCR ; Savoy Brown ; Doors; Dire Straits ; to get an idea. I figure with three people we can come up good sound and keep it simple. less arguing and infighting over song selections. I do have a large practice space, easy access.And oh, by the way, I play keys.
